Subject: Inquiry Regarding Employee Hiring

I am pleased to submit this inquiry:

1. What is the maximum age at which employees may be employed by a local authority (after the retirement age)?

2. Are there employees at the Council who have passed the retirement age? If so, how many employees are there? Please provide an exact number!

3. Does the council employ employees over the maximum age specified in section 1 of this inquiry? If so, exactly how many?

4. Are there employees working for the council who are relatives as defined by the Ministry of the Interior’s guidelines for hiring employees? If so, exactly how many?

5. Has the Council taken or is it taking steps to investigate the issue of family ties among employees, if the Council does indeed employ relatives?
